One rainy day outside of Paris, Lisa and Laurent were listening to the lyrics and music from Paul Simon’s album, One Trick Pony. They both had an epiphany at the exact same moment, “Why not pay tribute to this amazing lyricist and musician?” That’s exactly what they decided to do, picking out songs, writing the arrangements, and recording their own versions of some of the most iconic songs in history, as well as their favorite Paul Simon songs. It was a difficult decision as too exactly which 8 songs to choose from Simon’s vast and wonderful collections, but these 8 really spoke to them. So here they are. These heartfelt and beautiful arrangements are so beautifully put together, the musicians recorded in one room at La Frette Studio’s, you can hear their love of the music.
